The Northern Plains National Heritage Area is led by a dedicated staff and a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of representatives from each of the five counties within the NPNHA (Burleigh, McLean, Mercer, Morton, and Oliver), as well as representatives of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation and the Standing Rock Sioux Tribes.
